Digvijay, Dhoni and others....

Hi...
It was a very sad second half of the day with the Dadar blasts happening. My condolences to all the dead and injured, may god bless them and their souls.
After the blast, it becomes a game to get into the media and put forward your point of view. Interviews, expert comments etc..
an important statement came from Rahul Gandhi, gen. sect. Congress....you can read it here...
Rahul Gandhi`s statement on Mumbai blasts 2011 (Times of India,13th July 2011)

I agree with Rahul that it’s not possible to stop each and every terrorist attack. However, the indifferent manner in which he gave the statement shows off his unconcerned attitude towards the victims. It seems like the whole incident appeared to him like a minor accident.

On the other hand, Digvijay’s statement shows that his indifference and non-concern is way beyond Rahul’s. He says India’s situation is much better than Pakistan where blasts keep happening every week.

This really makes us ask – Are they waiting for a situation where a blast takes place every week? When we will have a Pakistan-like situation, only then will the matter become serious?

These comments coming from the hot shots of the ruling Congress party clearly proves that we have elected inhuman people to govern us who themselves are a terror.

I have no shame in saying that even the British wouldn’t have been so inhuman!

If Rahul or Digvijay loses a loved one in some blast, only then they will realize how serious a terrorist attack can be.

Now to Dhoni, I don`t blame him for going for runs in the last test in West Indies. Obviously he would have discussed it with the coach Duncan Flectcher. Now think of a scenario, you are a coach of the number 1 test team of the world, the ODI world champions and the one with the most successful and powerful boards in cricket. The board that would shower you with money and perks if you win....but would throw you out like a fly from tea if the team looses.

You can see Gary Kirsten, the most successful coach of India received almost as much as the cricketers for winning the WC 2011 and making the team number 1 in tests.

Here are the stats of Duncan Fletcher`s coaching stint for England Click here . You will see a lots of draws in there. I for once think that he is a coach who doesn`t like to loose and would rather draw the test then loose it. If Dhoni would have put his foot down, he could have moved himself up the order and pushed for win, but if he would have lost, then it would have been an embarrassment completed for India in this test.

Now off to England, who are desperately trying to prove themselves a real contenders for the number 1 crown in tests. It`s their home ground and their atmosphere and they have their tail up after beating a Murli less Srilankans.

On a more personal note, I have been reading the Calvin and Hobbes comic strips...and really it takes a lots of stress off your mind. I am also fascinated by that kid`s imagination. Man, I really want to ask my parents if I had such a creative imagination when I was 6-7 years old??
